According to Google, Gmail does not count the mail that one has thrown away towards your quota... apparently this is NOT so :( wenchakaalana attempted to send me email to my Gmail account today (I downloaded all the mail last night from it) and got a "permanant failure, user over quota" error message. I cannot log in to it from work here, as gmail, hotmail and yahoo mail are all blocked at the firewall.

so when I get home I need to go and delete everything in my trash on gmail and magically it will start accepting messages again.
